The Department of Finance and Economics, College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah, invites applicants for full-time permanent faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and full professor ranks, starting Fall 2019. Positions are also available as Visiting Academic.
Outstanding candidates from all research areas of Finance will be considered with preference to be given to candidates with a PhD in Finance from a recognized/accredited University.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach effectively in all areas of Finance. They may also contribute, if needed, by teaching at the master's (MBA, EMBA) and DBA programs. They will be expected to supervise graduate and undergraduate students. The successful candidate is expected to engage in other educational scholarly and professional activities, liaise with industry, and undertake research in their areas of interest.
