Job Purpose
|
A
faculty in the department of medical diagnostic imaging, with an academic rank
of assistance, associate, and full professor, reports directly to the Chair of
the department. The individual appointed will join a small team of
teacher/researchers and provide both width and depth to the team through
teaching excellence and research ability. The individual will be expected to be
comfortably working with liberal educational methods, and have well developed
organizational skills.

Main accountabilities & expectations

- Teaching
- Leadership in teaching at the undergraduate level in theory and laboratory aspects assessment as well as in the clinical practice of medical diagnostic imaging.
- Curriculum refinement and evaluation.
- Student advising
- Research and community engagement.

Desirable Requirements
|
- The candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalence degree in Medical Diagnostic Imaging technology/ Radiology/ Ultrasound is desirable.
- A BSc. Degree in radiography or radiological technologist qualification in preferable.
- Postdoctoral training is a significant asset.
- Demonstrable research productivity supported by a visible publication record.
- Significant teaching and clinical (technical) experience in the field of radiologic and/or diagnostic imaging technology and modalities.
- Has a record in education, teaching and community services.
- Has experience in credit hour system
- Has experience in accreditation and international accreditation
- Fluency in English at the general and professional levels is essential.
