Job Purpose

To supervise and monitor the daily, periodically services provided by cleaning, pest control and Landscapes companies. Work closely with the teams to ensure a high degree of standards.

Main accountabilities & expectations

Job Responsibilities Includes but not limited to the following;

  • Manage the day to day on-site operation which includes cleaning, pest control and landscape.
  • Supervise the workforce, ensuring that service providers deliver their specific services within the agreed time and standards 
  • Ensuring that delivery is of the highest quality with a significant emphasis on service excellence 
  • To respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues and call center requests. 
  • Ensure that service providers continuously and effectively deliver the University's needs to the agreed specified Service Level Agreements 
  • Ensure that the standards of compliance, health & Safety and hygiene are to the University standards at all times. 
  •  Compile daily inspection checklist to monitor standard of work and completion to the schedule.
  • Report to Facilities Manager on work progress and issues on a daily basis. 
  • Report to Facilities Engineer on work progress and issues on a daily basis.

 

  • Participate in Emergency and First Aid activities
  • Report near misses, incidents and initiate/participate in incident investigations
  • Participate in HSE and cross-functional meetings as required
  • Conduct daily morning briefing to Service provider
  • Preparation of monthly and weekly activity report
  • Check service provider if they maintain the stock of cleaning materials and oversee monthly stock inventory
  • Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards
  • Instruct service provider about work policies and procedures.
  • Confer with service provider in order to resolve performance and personnel problems
  • Recommend updates to improve service and increase operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist other team members in different work disciplines as required in order to meet completion of all assigned works.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • Proven experience within soft services, particularly cleaning - BICS qualifications advantageous.  
  • Experience of leading and developing a large team in a similar operation 
  • Committed to delivering exceptional service standards 
  • Passionate about quality customer service 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong background of FM software.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the English Language (oral & written)
  • High customer service skills
