Job Purpose

Laboratories

Main accountabilities & expectations

Preparation chemicals and glass wares for the practical sessions

Job Specific Accountabilities
 
  1. Preparation of the reagents and chemicals required for each experiment and practical according to instructions.
  2. Calibrations and standardization of each instrument and equipment before each operation following the standard operating procedures (SOP).
  3. Follow up the Maintenance of Equipment and instruments in the college of Pharmacy.
  4. Arranging the college store of chemicals, glassware and equipment using Good storage practice procedures (GSP).
  5. Receiving the purchased items of equipment. Glassware and chemicals from the company representatives.
  6. Assumes full responsibility to prepare all the laboratory work inside the assigned laboratories.
  7. Helping the students in their practical courses by advising them about the safety instructions and precautions taken during their presence in the lab.
  8. Disposing of laboratory chemical/biological waste.
  9. Assisting the faculty members in the lab work related to their courses.
  10. Conduct the assigned college administrative work.

BScs in pharmacy or BScs in Chemistry
