Preferred Qualification & Experience
Minimum qualification includes a PhD degree in Civil Engineering (Smart Sustainable Infrastructures) and a graduate education record combining course work and research as well as a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable and accredited institution of higher education.
Demonstrated excellent track record in research and high quality publications as well as demonstrated leadership of funded research projects, ability to teach a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate subjects in civil engineering including sustainable infrastructure and smart city infrastructures, sensor integration for smart city management, and urban mobility data analytics, as well as other civil engineering courses. Demonstrated contributions to graduate program development in the area of Smart Cities and Sustainable infrastructures. Well demonstrated research record in at least one or more of the following areas: Sustainable and smart city infrastructures design, Sensor integration for smart city management, AI and other Machine Learning applications in smart infrastructure management, Drones, VR and AR applications on the management of sustainable infrastructure projects, Urban mobility data analytics etc., The appointee also expected to show keen interest in teaching and learning, working knowledge of relevant program accreditation systems. Evidence of team work, collaboration and positive contributions to work environment.
