​Assistant, Associate or Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Department of Family & Community Medicine & Behavioral Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Sharjah to teach clinical psychology/ behavioral sciences  for UG and PG medical students within an integrated Problem based curriculum, and to provide patient’s care

​

• Teach and train undergraduate students and postgraduate candidates on campus and clinical settings
• Supervise clinical psychology training and evaluate student's learning using various assessment methods such as OSCE, DOCEE, MCQ, SAQ, portfolios, assignments and compiles, administers, and grades examinations.
• Advise students on academic and vocational matters.
• Provide full patient's care including psychological assessment, diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders in accordance with DSM5 diagnostic criteria, develop a management plan and provide therapy to groups and individuals using various evidence-based modalities and monitor progress through regular meetings and checkups
• Active participation in departmental assignments and student activities as assigned by the department chair or college dean.
• Serve on department, faculty and university committees as appointed or elected.
• Conduct and supervise research 
  

​Prospective applicants holding clinical Ph.D. or Fellowship/ Board (or equivalent)  in clinical psychology and eligible to practice in UAE.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with certificate in Medical Education.
• At least 5 year of clinical practice
• Eligibility to obtain UAE license to practice.
• Demonstrated research experience related to clinical psychology including grants and publications  
• Participation in community services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic language
• Excellent academic  record and clinical psychology practice.  
• Experience in preparing and computer-assisted/online courses
