Job Purpose
|
Assistant Professor of Community
Medicine/ Public Health at Department of Family & Community Medicine
& Behavioral Sciences, the College
of Medicine, to teach Community Medicine
subjects for medical students within an integrated, Problem based curriculum.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach Community Medicine subjects (including Research Methodology, Biostatistics and Epidemiology) to medical students
- Evaluate student's learning using various methods of assessments including MCQ, SAQ, portfolios, research-based assignments..etc
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations
- Advise students on academic, research and vocational matters
- Active participation in departmental assignments and student activities as assigned by the department chair or college dean
- Serve on department, faculty and university committees as appointed or elected
