Job Purpose
|
- Teaching specialization courses in the Department of International Relations,
- conducting and publishing research papers in area of specialization,
- carrying out activities for community service, and
- contributing to the fulfillment of the IR Program's requirements for academic accreditation.
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach five courses for each semester based on candidate's specialization.
- Provide pastoral support and academic advisement to students in the Department.
- Produce research of international quality by publishing in peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed journals.
- Contribute to the preparation of self-studies for the initial/full accreditation of the following programs: Master Degree in International Relations, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
- Work on departmental, college, university committees.
- Assume miscellaneous administrative duties arising from daily maintenance.

Preferred Qualification & Experience
|
- Masters' Degree in International Relations/Political Science from a reputed university with specializations in the International Relations of Middle East and Gulf States.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in university teaching.
- A record of publications in the area of specialization.
