The Department of Finance and Economics, College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah, invites applicants for full-time permanent faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor ranks, starting Fall 2022.
Outstanding candidates from all research areas of Finance will be considered with preference to be given to candidates with a PhD in Finance from a recognized/accredited University and those with high research profiles as evidenced by Scopus indexed research. Also, significant university and graduate teaching and dissertation supervision is a plus.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach effectively in all areas of Finance. They may also contribute, if needed, by teaching at the master's (MBA, EMBA) and DBA programs. They will be expected to supervise graduate and undergraduate students. The successful candidate is expected to engage in other educational scholarly and professional activities, liaise with industry, and undertake research in their areas of interest.
