Job Purpose
|
- Lecturers shall have obtained a master's degree, from a University recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
-To deliver laboratory teaching and clinical training to Physiotherapy students.
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
Teaching and learning
- Teaching courses of a practical and clinical nature
- Undertaking a teaching load of (15) credit hours
- Invigilating / proctor examinations for the courses assigned to him/her in accordance with the approved regulations of the University.
- Allocating office hours for student visits.
- Implementing tasks assigned by the Department Chairperson, Center Director, College Dean or Chancellor;
- Devoting him/herself fulltime to his/her academic duties at the University and maintain the University's high stature and reputation.
- Undertaking community service and endeavor to meet the needs of the community in accordance with the guidelines set by the University.
- Supervising student research, reports and activities related to the courses they teach; this does not include student graduation research or projects.
- Assisting faculty with the task of student academic advising
- Performing (40) hours of work per week distributed across the above-mentioned duties.

Required Skills

Desirable Requirements
|
- MSc. In Physiotherapy from a University recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education
- At least 3 years teaching experience in the physiotherapy program
