Job Purpose

Teaching, conducting research, and performing community service

Main accountabilities & expectations
  1.  Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
  2.  Supervising and mentoring graduate students
  3.  Mentoring junior faculty and providing leadership in scientific research
  4.  Performing all assigned administrative tasks by the department, college, and university
  5.  Providing leadership in the department across the areas of research, curriculum development, and service.
  6. Conducting high quality research publishable in Scopus indexed Q1 journals

Job Specific Accountabilities
Conduct high quality scientific research, teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, advise students, supervise graduate research projects, and perform administrative duties specified by the Department, College, and University.
Required Skills
  • Effective teaching skills, proven research skills, and documented curriculum development skills.



Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum qualification includes:
    • PhD in Information Systems or a closely related field (from a reputable and internationally recognized University).
    • Full professor rank
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Have interest and experience in bridging links with industry and the community
  • Research focus on big data, business analytics, or data science
