Job Purpose

​The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) is seeking to hire a Post Doctorate researcher in the Intelligent Information Systems Applications (IISA) Research Group. Applicant should have good experience in intelligent systems and artificial intelligence techniques, including smart cities applications, big data analytics, multi-objectives optimization, sustainable development applications, and internet of things data aggregation. Being familiar with computational and artificial intelligence techniques is a must. Candidates should have the ability to lead projects, write grants and write manuscripts, and deliver presentations.

 
Main accountabilities & expectations

1.      Follow all University policies regulations for safe working procedures

2.      Conduct research including programing experiments and computational analysis

3.      Writing grants and manuscripts

4.      Participate in organizing Events, Conferences, and journals editing and reviewing services

5.      Teaching and training students

6.      Placing orders and managing lab equipment

Required Skills --
Desirable Requirements
  1. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or other related
  2. Must have a strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures
  3. Must be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
  4. Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
  5. Must be willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
