Job Purpose
|
- Teaching courses in the Department of International Relations
- Research and publication in areas of specialization
- Supervision of graduate research.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach four courses for each semester based on candidate's areas of specialization
- Provide pastoral support and academic advisement to students in the Department
- Publication in Scopus-indexed journals
- Contribution to departmental, college, and university committees
- Community service.

Desirable Requirements
|
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD in International Relations/Political Science from a reputable university.
- A track record of publications in the area of specialization
- University teaching and research experience.
- Minimum of 5-year experience in university teaching.
SPECIALISATION:
Although there are no stipulated areas of specialization, preference will be given to candidates with one or a combination of the below research interests:
- Quantitative research methods
- Public policy
- Gulf / MENA studies
