1. Participation in didactic and computational teaching activities covering Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Technology, and related courses within the UOS College of Pharmacy curriculum as determined by the Department Chair for current undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
2. Perform all course coordinator tasks using the university’s LMS, perform exam analysis and complete electronic assessment reports.
3. Provide mentorship and advisement for undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Pharmacy.
4. Communicate teaching and research activities through frequent and effective communication with the Department Chair.
5. Conduct research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and engage in team-based research in formulation, drug delivery, and pharmaceutical nanotechnology.
6. Procure and/or maintain an externally funded research program in pharmaceutics or areas related to the pharmaceutics field. 
7. Publish scientific findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and present research at national and international conferences.
8. Be involved in curriculum development and quality assurance activities related to the department and the college.
9. Actively participate in the department, college, and university committees and in professional and governmental organizations.
10. Carry out any other tasks related to the course development and department / college / university activities assigned by the head of department or the dean of the college.​

1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
2. PhD in Pharmaceutics / Biopharmaceutics / Pharmacokinetics / Pharmaceutical Technology / Drug Delivery / Industrial Pharmacy / Regulatory Affairs
3. Demonstrated a record of research accomplishment in the form of original research publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field. 
4. Three years of assistant professor experience in teaching, supervising students and conducting independent research demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals in the field of pharmaceutics.​
