​The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) is seeking to hire a postdoc researcher. The researcher will work within the Center for Advanced Materials Research (CAMR) and will assist its members with related research projects. The researcher shall be responsible to:

• build and enhance the capacity and capability of the advanced material (Perovskite) solar cell research team,
• operate a glove box, thermal evaporator and sun simulator,
• synthesize the materials needed to produce basic perovskite solar cells and then work on enhancing their stability and performance, 
• collect and analyze the necessary data and write technical reports and papers.  

• Assist the Perovskite solar-cell research team of CAMR.
• Work on a base-line Perovskite solar-cell (including design, fabrication, and testing) according to latest state-of-the-art reports.
• Run experimental procedures and collect data.
• Manage and develop pertinent experimental techniques and instrumentation.
• Train research assistants/graduate students.
• Publish research results and present them in conferences and meetings.
• Follow all university policies and regulations for safe working procedures.
• Perform other relevant duties as requested by the director of CAMR.

• PhD in material science or related fields.
• Experience in material characterization (SEM/TEM, XRD, UPS/XPS, Photoluminescence, Raman, AFM)
• Knowledge in semiconductor/device physics.

• Prior scholarly publications and research experience in the field of Perovskite solar cells
• Experience in nanomaterial and/or thin film synthesis and characterization 
• Project management
• Good communication and writing skills in English
