Job Purpose
|
Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor of Community Medicine/ Public Health at the Department of Family & Community Medicine
& Behavioral Sciences, the College of Medicine, to teach Community Medicine
subjects for medical students within an
integrated, problem-based curriculum.
|

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach Community Medicine subjects (including Research Methodology, Biostatistics and Epidemiology) to medical students
- Evaluate student's learning using various methods of assessments including MCQ, SAQ, portfolios, research-based assignments. etc.
- Compiles, administers, and grades examinations
- Advise students on academic, research and vocational matters
- Active participation in departmental assignments and student activities as assigned by the department chair or college dean
- Serve on department, faculty and university committees as appointed or elected

Desirable Requirements
|
Prospective
applicants holding at least MSc for Lecturer level and PhD for Assistant/Associate Professor level in Community Medicine/Public Health or another
health-related field.
