Job Purpose
|
The College of Dental Medicine at the University of Sharjah is seeking a
well-qualified candidate for a full-time position in Oral Pathology. The
suitable applicant should have a proven record of teaching and research in his
field, as the College develops its taught postgraduate education and forges a
research excellency culture, and aspires to be the leading dental school in the
Gulf region.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- The appointee shall provide didactic lectures/seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Start a productive and "externally-funded" research program in the Oral Pathology field.
- The appointee will also participate and collaborate in multidisciplinary research in the College's Research Groups.
- He/she will also be involved in university and community services.

Required Skills
|
- Able to establish a productive and "externally-funded" research projects in the field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in business in both Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in MS office applications.

Desirable Requirements
|
- BDS or DDS, and PhD or equivalent doctoral degree
- Postgraduate training and experience in Oral Pathology
- Experience in postgraduate teaching
- Proven record of excellent research publications
