Job Purpose
|
The College of Engineering, Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Sharjah is seeking to appoint a full time faculty with teaching
experience and/or professional practice in the field of Conservation Management
of Cultural Heritage and/or Museology, as well as in Architecture /
Architectural Engineering.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Help in the coordination and management of the MSc in Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage with the ability to contribute greatly to the teaching in the program in Arabic and/ or English.
- Ability to teach a range of core and elective courses in graduate programs (Master and Ph.D.) in conservation management, architectural engineering, and Museology.
- Supervise MSc and PhD Thesis' in the field of cultural heritage conservation management and/or Museology.
- Have the ability to teach Architectural courses at the UG level.

Required Skills
|
- Applicants shall hold a Ph.D. in a related field of Architecture with a sound academic track record in the fields of Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage and/or Museology.
- Applicants shall hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/ Architectural Engineering.
- Applicants should have high proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the field is required.
