Research Institute for Medical and Health Sciences (RIMHS) is currently recruiting a postdoctoral fellow in the “Healthy Aging, Longevity and Sustainability” Research Group. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. in the Biomedical Sciences field with extensive experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, and Immunometabolism. He/She should have experience in isolating immune cells, animal handlings, cell culture, and molecular techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, and cellular metabolic assays, among others. He/She should have experience in mouse models of metabolic diseases.​​

1. Manage the day-to-day running of the “Healthy Aging, Longevity and Sustainability" Research Group laboratory.
2. Manage the ordering, stock-taking, and budget for the Research Group.
3. ​Perform research projects assigned to him/her by the Research Group.​

• An in-depth knowledge of basic immunological techniques, cell culture, and Immunometabolism techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, flow cytometry, and cellular metabolic assays.
• Experience with mouse models of immunological or metabolic diseases such as autoimmune diseases, obesity, or diabetes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable him/her to smoothly interact with staff and faculty at the institute.
• Ability to work as part of a team 
• Ability to write proposals research fund applications, and research papers for publication, and steering the publication process from scratch to screen-shown online publication. ​
