Job Purpose
|
The Assistant/Associate Professor is
an academic position with responsibilities for teaching, research, and
community outreach. The faculty member is expected to engage in research
related to clinical pharmacy practice and education, contribute to curriculum
development and accreditation, and participate in health initiatives and
professional development programs.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach courses in the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program.
- Participate in university and community services.
- Engage in research projects related to Clinical Pharmacy and patient care.
- Grade students' exams, assignments, and coursework for the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program courses.
- Actively participate in college courses, and tutorial activities.
- Provide professional supervision for students.

Required Skills
|
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
A first degree in pharmacy is required.
PhD in Clinical Pharmacy/Pharmacy Practice from a well reputed university is a MUST.
Previous experience in student training programs is required.
Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing) is essential.
A record of 2-3 publications in SCOPUS-indexed journals within the last 3 years is required.
Excellent communication skills in Arabic (speaking and writing) are a plus.
