Job Purpose
|
Associate or Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Curriculum and
Teaching Methods responsible for teaching students in the Early Childhood Bachelor’s Program
and preparing units related to the general curriculum and teaching methods for
the programs prepared by the department.
|
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teaching the department's courses and students enrolled in the Early Childhood Bachelor's Program.
- Preparing units related to the subjects of the Early Childhood Curricula.
- Contributing to the preparation of academic programs offered by the department.
- Contributing to the cycles of academic accreditation, institutional effectiveness, and quality assurance.
- Any other tasks assigned by the department.

Required Skills
|
- PhD in the field of specialisation (from an English-speaking university).

At least 5 years of experience in the teaching field.

Experience in supervising practical education programs in schools
.

Proven record of supervising Master and PhD theses.

Published
research
in Arab and International peer-reviewed journals (Scopus)
.

Experience in the field of educational technology including distance learning technologies
.

Fluency in Arabic and English languages (speaking, writing and typing).

Experience in the field of academic accreditation for graduate programs.
- Computer skills, preferably ICDL certificate holders (proficiency in all computer programs).
