1. Prepare experiments for lab sessions and participate in the application and development of these experiments with faculty members while ensuring all safety requirements are implemented at all times.
2. Provide technical support to lab users and assist in lab hardware/software usage as well as the use of the various labs facilities and devices.
3. Manage and supervise lab facilities by making sure that the equipment and machines are in good working order and recommends improvements as appropriate to maintain standards of accuracy and reliability.
4. Install, maintain, troubleshoot and update laboratory software and demonstrate how to use them.
5. Store, maintain and use radiation sources and radiation equipment safely for experiments.
6. Participate in improving existing laboratory facilities and in preparing future laboratory facilities for the college/department, as well as manage lab equipment and supplies to ensure the lab is fully operational.
7. Coordinate with the college administration in arranging appropriate schedules in order to conduct weekly classes.
8. Participate in invigilating student examinations, co-instructing practical sessions, and help mark exams when required.
