Job Purpose
|
A self-motivated and proactive Lecturer in Biochemistry or closely related area.
- Experience in teaching practical Biochemistry courses (labs) at the higher education/university
level and hands-on experience in Biochemistry and instrumentation.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach theoretical and practical courses in the field.
- Provide academic and professional Advice to students.
- Contribute to curriculum and program development.
- Contribute to the academic assessment processes.
- Contribute to community services, outreach activities and students’ extracurricular activities.
- Coordinate laboratory activities and teaching.
7. Manage and maintain instrumentations.
- Contribute to the development of instructional methodologies use IT and AI protocols.
- Ensure health and safety procedure are implemented and updated.

Required Skills
|
- MSc. degree in Biochemistry from a reputable/recognized academic institution.
- Fluency in the English Language in both writing and orally.
- At least 1 year of teaching Biochemistry experimental/practical Labs. at the University level.
- Proficiency in using biochemistry techniques and instruments.
- Preferred experience in Microplate readers, IR, NMR, Raman, and Circular Dichroism (CD)
Instrument.
- Experience in Food Chemistry, and Quality Control.
- Preferred knowledge in data acquisition using LabView.

Desirable Requirements
|
- B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry from a recognized academic institution.
- Priority to UAE Nationals.
