Job Purpose
|
Teaching experience and/or Professional practice in the field of Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage research focusing on Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) contexts, with, if possible, Artificial Intelligence applications.
|
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
The successful candidate is expected to:
- help in the coordination and management of the MSc in Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage with the ability to contribute greatly to the teaching in the program in Arabic and/ or English.
- ability to teach a range of core and elective courses in graduate programs (Master and Ph.D.) in conservation management, architectural engineering.
- supervise MSc and PhD Thesis' in the field of cultural heritage conservation management and/or Museology.
- have the ability to teach Architectural courses at the UG level.

Required Skills
|
- Applicants are expected to have a well-established research profile in the field with an excellent publication record, especially in Scopus-listed journals
- Experience in accreditation of programs in the UAE will be an added value.

Desirable Requirements
|
- Applicants shall hold a Ph.D. in a related field of Architecture with a sound academic track record in the fields of Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage - Historic Urban Landscape (HUL)
- Applicants shall hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/ Architectural Engineering.
- Applicants should have high proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Minimum of Three years of experience in the field is required.
