​​The Department of Management/College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah invites qualified candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor to apply for a full-time faculty position in Human Resource Management / Organizational Behaviour. The commencement date of the position is in January 2026. The successful candidates are expected to:

• Hold a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management / Organizational Behaviour (HRM/OB) from a university recognized internationally. • Have demonstrated teaching experience in the HRM/OB, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels 
• Have a strong track record of research publications in refereed scholarly journals in HRM/OB discipline. ABDC as well as SJR journal ranking will be used by the department to assess the research output quality for all applicants. The applicants’ H index will be used also to evaluate the applicants' profiles. 
• Experience in supervising postgraduate students is highly desirable 
• Interest and experience in bridging links with industry and the community are also expected ​

• Teach courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels 
• Contribute to the development of courses and programs (both undergraduate and postgraduate offered by the College of Business Administration) and accreditation 
• Accomplish all assigned administrative tasks by the department and college 
• Contribute to the research activities and initiate research projects leading to effective publications in journals with high ranking 
• Mentor and advise students 
• Mentor and advise junior faculty (if/when applicable) 
• Supervise postgraduate students’ research projects and theses ​​

​Minimum qualification includes: 

• ​Ph.D. in HRM/OB (From a reputable and recognized Tertiary Education Institution) 
• Master’s degree in HRM/OB (From a reputable and recognized Tertiary Education Institution)​
