Job Purpose
|
As a postdoctoral Researcher, you are expected to work with the members
of Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Research Group at Sustainable
Energy and Power Systems Research Center. A strong research background in renewable energy is required, encompassing areas such as (i) solar thermal technologies (including solar cooling and solar heating), (ii) solar photovoltaic systems, (iii) wind energy, and (iv) geothermal energy. Additionally, the candidate should possess experience in energy efficiency that includes, but is not limited to, (i) buildings, (ii) power plants, (iii) transportation, and (iv) industrial applications.

Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Modeling and simulation of renewable energy systems
- Designing and conducting experiments
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
- Performing energy efficiency analysis
- Writing technical reports and research papers
- Making presentations on a regular basis
|
|
Required Skills
|
- Ability to conduct research with defined objectives and outcomes within the allowed time and budget
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team of faculty and researchers
- Highly motivated

Desirable Requirements

- Educational Background in energy, renewable
energy, or related fields
- Strong publication record

R&D in renewable energy and energy efficiency, evidenced by high-quality
education and research records

background in renewable energy/energy efficiency projects (set up experiments; data collection,
analysis, and interpretation)
