The Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah, invites applicants for full-time permanent faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor ranks, starting Fall 2021.
Outstanding candidates from all research areas of Accounting will be considered with preference to be given to candidates with a PhD in Accounting from a recognized/accredited University and those with high research profiles as evidenced by Scopus indexed research. Also significant university and graduate teaching and dissertation supervision is a plus.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach effectively in all areas of Accounting. They may also contribute, if needed, by teaching at the master's (MBA, EMBA) and DBA programs. They will be expected to supervise graduate and undergraduate students. The successful candidate is expected to engage in other educational scholarly and professional activities, liaise with industry, and undertake research in their areas of interest.
