Job Purpose

​

Full Professor of Medical Education at the College of Medicine.

To participate in the teaching, curriculum management and educational innovation in the college, to work closely with the Dean College of Medicine, to supervise the PhD Program in Medical Education and master of leadership in Health Professions Education. Moreover, to plan and implement faculty development activities aiming at enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching and Learning, students' assessment, and educational research in the college of Medicine
Main accountabilities & expectations

  1.  Supervise the proposed PhD in Medical Education and the existing Master of leadership in Health Professions Education
  2. Provide support and advice to the Dean in matters pertaining to the curriculum delivery and assessment at under and post graduate level.
  3. Supervise the development of the policies and procedures for effective management of the curricula in the college of Medicine
  4. Contribute to faculty development program provided by the medical education center
  5.  Supervise the activities of the Medical Education Centre

  • Substantial track record of research in Medical/Health Profession Education
  • Leadership in Medical/Health Professions Education
  • Bachelor in Medicine will be an added value
