The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) at the university of Sharjah invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the High Energy Physics research group.
The position offers exciting opportunities to work in experimental High Energy Physics in the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland.
The High Energy Physics group at the University of Sharjah (UoS) is a part of the UAE-ATLAS cluster, composed of three UAE institutions. The group is contributing with the UAE-ATLAS cluster to the Physics Modeling (MC software, MC validation and Pileup modeling), the High-Level Trigger validation and optimization; and will be working on the heterogeneous computing towards the HL-LHC.
The physics interests of group are focused on the search for new physics beyond the Standard Model, including Dark Matter and Higgs physics.
