​​As a Postdoctoral Researcher Associate, you are expected to show great interest on in synthesis especially in Organometallic/coordination chemistry and ligand design (organic) to work for the Pure & Applied Chemistry Research Group. You will characterize the synthesized materials using FTIT, TGA, NMR, UV/Vis, SEM/TEM/TGA/XAFS, ICP-OES etc and then study these materials in the area of heterogenous/homogenous catalysis (for instance, C-C coupling, C-N coupling, oxidation, reduction etc.)  and small molecule activation (such as CO₂ reduction to fuel or CO₂ conversion to valuable products, conversion of N₂ to NH₃ or related products).​​​​

• Work independently, but in close cooperation and consultation with the Pure & Applied Chemistry Research group coordinator and members.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures.
• Develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols. 
• Act as a research team leader, who is responsible for other projects and MSc students.
• Work with other team members in the group who conduct multidisciplinary research.​​

• Educational certificate in synthetic chemistry, or Inorganic/organometallic area. ​
• Track record of publications in peer-reviewed international journals related to chemistry.
• Design and execute experiments to synthesize and characterize new catalysts and organic compounds.
• Develop sustainable catalysts for various organic synthesis, preparing value added products and green materials​​
