​Professor of Family Medicine will lead the development and implementation of the strategic plan of  the department in  accordance with the college and University plan. ​

• Lead the curriculum development and modification as a part of the college's ongoing quality improvement and assessment program
• Contribute to the department teaching and assessment of students to ensure that the students have met the required knowledge, skills, and competency of standard.
• Lead the community services offered by department faculty.
• Provide  clinical services through the university clinic/hospitals as needed
• Prepare frequent and annual academic evaluation reports of the department and programs.
• Lead research activates of the department including planning, designing, and implementation.
• Activity involved in students advising.
• Play leadership role in achieving college and university  mission and vision
• Perform special duties as assigned by the Dean of the college.
• Exhibit a high standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of personal and professional actions and performance.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and support staff.​
