Job Purpose
|
The College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah seeks to appoint a qualified candidate for the position of Lecturer in Mathematics to join in Fall 2025/2026. Successful candidate must have a Master's degree in Mathematics.
|
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
Main responsibilities include Teaching and Community Service.
The candidate is expected to:
- Teach undergraduate courses (Mathematics and Statistics).
- Contribute to the development of new courses/programs.
- Community Services.
- Collaborating with fellow educators to ensure an enriching learning experience for all.

Required Skills
|
- University teaching experience of at least two years.
- Experience in credit hour system.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Master of Science in Mathematics/Statistics from a well-known accredited university.
- Evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Teaching experience in both traditional and online learning environments (2 years Minimum).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and growth.
- Experience in Machine Learning based application is desirable
