Job Purpose
|
The Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Sharjah invites applications for a full-time Lecturer of English (language and writing) for appointment in the Fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
|
|
Main accountabilities & expectations
|
- Teach writing courses at undergraduate level.
- Perform assigned administrative responsibilities as delegated by the department and the college.
|
|
Required Skills
|
- PhD in English with Specialization in one or more of the following areas: English for Academic Purposes, Writing and Rhetoric, Creative Writing.
- Experience teaching at Undergraduate level.
- Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes, published research, or creative writing would be an advantage.
