​​​The purpose of the Full Stack Developer role is to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive inhouse applications that support the university's goals and enhance user experience. The role involves working on both front-end and back-end components to deliver seamless, high-quality solutions that meet the needs of students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. By leveraging your expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital infrastructure, ensuring it remains efficient, secure, and up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.​

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies such as NET applications, Microsoft SharePoint, PHP, Sitecore, Oracle, and Python.
  

• Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  

• Develop solutions to Integrate different systems from different platforms including ERP, LMS, CMS and HR systems using APIs.
  

• Automate all requests and convert them to online applications and workflows.
  

• Ability to create analytical reports and dashboards that explore and present data from different systems.​
  

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications are current and competitive.
  

• Work closely with other team members, other university colleges and departments and line manager to deliver high-quality applications.
  

• Strong experience in building and monitoring APIs and system integration.
  

• Strong experience in installation and configuration, platform operations, troubleshooting Code Analysis, and support of API products.
  

• Strong experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, ASP, .Net, Sitecore, Sharepoint Online, CMS (preferred SP), Angular JS, PHP, BackboneJS, JSON, RestAPI, Python, PHP and Java.
  

• Experience in CMS (Sharepoint , word press, Sitecore ).
  

• Experience in Oracle, LMS , Banner, ERP solutions development and architecture.
  

• Strong experience in integrating different systems and databases.
  

• Strong Experience in SQL and Oracle databases including creating complex queries.
• Experience in Systems analytics and AI tools and dashboards. 
  

• Experience in cloud and Azure cloud technologies.
  

• Experience in system reporting tools such as Tablue, Argos, Bower BI or equivalent.
  

• Excellent conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities and solid written and verbal communication skills.
  

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and persuade colleagues at all levels.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
  

• 6+ years of experience in full stack development.​
  

• Strong experience in applications, software and API development.​
