The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) is seeking to hire a full-time Postdoctoral researcher to work on a number of collaboration projects with local authorities and industries. The Postdoctoral Researcher will focus on the development, fabrication, and optimization of advanced ceramic membranes for water and wastewater treatment applications. The role involves designing novel membrane materials, improving membrane performance (flux, selectivity, fouling resistance), and evaluating their application in desalination and industrial water treatment systems.
The researcher will conduct experimental work on membrane synthesis techniques (e.g., sol-gel, extrusion, sintering), material characterization (e.g., SEM, XRD, porosity analysis), and pilot-scale testing under realistic operating conditions. The position also includes data analysis, process optimization, and integration of ceramic membranes into hybrid treatment systems.
